Here’s some of the first shots of my Vault Dweller suit! I’ll be posting up more shots as I get them and I’m planning some more improvements and photoshoots for SDCC.
shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit Adam my excitement for Comic Con adventures just blew through the fuckin ROOF.
I’m in a bit of a rough financial patch right now after some expensive vet bills and house maintenance, so I’m trying to clear out my arsenal of costumes to make a little of that money back.
Every costume pictured here is for sale, including a whole bunch of other stuff that you can check out on My ACP Account! I threw a rough estimate of pricing up there for each costume, but a lot of those prices include the wig, so make sure to check out what items are included in each listing. I will reduce the total price of the sale if you choose not to include the wig or specific accessories.
Please leave me a message in my ask box, my ACP, or shoot an email over to thatambrosiachick[at]gmail[dot]com if you’re interested in anything! Or if you aren’t, please feel free to reblog this post or share it with your friends. :)
Thank you in advance! I hope each of my beloved costumes manages to find a happy new home. :D
The Tardis @ Roccon Hudson Valley 2013
ERMAHGERD! It’s me! Not looking too spazzy! Thank you thank you thank you Splinters of Light! Overall, Roc-Con Hudson Valley was a bust as a vendor, but I’m happy I got all dolled up, because now I finally have gorgeous photos of my Doctor Who corset from Pendragon Costumes. Wig is Arda, I made the skirt, and the rest of the accessories are a combo of handmade and purchased. I’ll do a real write up on ACP later. So happy!
OH MY GOD LAUREN THIS IS FUCKING GORGEOUS HOLY SHIT

Another preview from last weekend, featuring Krys as Black Canary.
EYO it’s me and my fishnet-covered butt modeling the sickening bunny suit made by MAGICAL WIZARD CARLY <3 This was my costume for Boston Comic Con, but the event was cancelled (for obvious reasons), so Nicole was a bro and took me around my neighborhood for some fun photos! I can’t wait to wear this again at SDCC and with my bb Jenni at AnimeNext so we can be beautiful DC babes together. :3
Here’s another double because these two ladies are a perfect team. (Heads up, you’re getting another team tomorrow. Deal with it.) Also, DaiKatsu’s Lieutenant gets another photo guest appearance. XD
Featured Cosplayers: Ambrosia and Pork Buns
While I’ve only shot with Krys once (one of my favorite characters of all time, Ryoko) I have known her for several years and can safely say she is one of my favorite people. Krys has a great sense of humor, she’s not afraid to be silly, and she always makes me smile. As busy as she is being a scientist by day and an arteest by night (or sometimes the other way around), for me, Krys is kind of the embodiment of “cosplay is for fun”. She has given me advice that has helped me when I needed it, and I honestly really admire her, her work, and her kindness. Her costumes are beautiful, as are her wigs, and I’ve seen her pull some serious MacGyver stuff like turning doilies into a stunning head piece.
I’m actually more than fairly certain that if you put Krys in a cave with Pork Buns and a box of scraps, they would emerge as Iron Man and Pepper Potts.
Speaking of Pork Buns, Tina also does breathtaking things with cosplay. She makes things that look like she somehow walked out of the television, the living character. Seriously, when I first saw her Amon costume, I was stunned. I so admire the fearlessness I have seen in her when it comes to trying new things and expanding her skills. Her attention to detail is stunning, and her love for masks and making them makes me smile. I can never wait to see what she’ll do next. Tina’s sense of humor is fantastic and she is one of the most helpful cosplayers I have ever seen (especially when it comes to her Journey costume and helping people to make their own!). She gave me great advice when I was trying to figure out make-up scars, and I hope one day I might be able to make them as perfectly as she does. While I’ve only taken a couple pictures of her, I hope one day we can shoot together more.
;__________; oh Autumnnnnn thank you so much for featuring my BFF and I and for saying such sweet things about us. You’re the best! <3
So i’m finally getting around to posting this; it’s like a month late because I wanted to make sure I could properly credit everyone and stuff, and then school got in the way, but whatever it’s here! This is the HUGE Doctor Who shoot we had at Katsucon 2013, and when I say huge I mean we were shooting for at least 3 Hours. Without further adieu, here’s the credits. Please please PLEASE do not remove the credits, you can get rid of my rambles but the credits should remain.
